Smooth Jazz New York, upholder of New York’s greatest and most appropriate well-spoken jazz shows, announces their October 7, 2011 Smooth Cruise Encore Double Bill featuring Phil Perry and Alex Bugnon. Two shows at 6:30pm and 9:30pm hat off their renouned Smooth Cruise summer period that featured tip acts inclusive Spyro Gyra, Jonathan Butler, Norman Brown, Rachelle Ferrell, Kirk Whalum, and others. The stellar twice bill follows an interesting 10-show summer register that enclosed Jonathan Butler, Spyro Gyra, Jazz Attack (with Gerald Albright, Peter White and Rick Braun), Najee, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Golub, Norman Brown, and Rachelle Ferrell, amid others. The special October 7th Friday night encore Smooth Cruise will set sail from Pier 61, Chelsea Piers (23rd St West Side Hwy) and journey down the Hudson River, gift well-developed song together with overwhelming views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline.

“It’s always a wish to present these incredibly gifted artists and even more special to do it on a twice bill where they come together low-pitched forces for a night,” says Bill Zafiros, co-founder of Smooth Jazz New York.
